Fj Lawn Care is, I believe, one of the only pest co.’s in the TC willing to show you, our customer, how to trap your own Moles. Yes, that’s right, trapping your own Moles. You save money, and a peace of mind knowing that anytime a Mole problem arises, you can get right out there and in no time have your traps set. Every couple days go out and check your traps, and if they are raised, you may have a Mole. Reset the trap in minutes and set back up for another.
What is involved in Mole Trapping?
What we’ll do is talk with you over the phone or by email first, and then determine whether or not DIY is something that you would like to do. Once we agree on this, we’ll come out to your property and assess your situation and explain to you what you have, Mole, Voles, or Gophers. If they’re Moles and you want to DIY, then we’ll go about the process with you by showing you how to find the main running tunnels, how to set your choker trap, and how to place it correctly.
When you sign on with us to DIY, as part of the price, we’ll include a nice 10″ soil cutting knife, and two choker traps. For most yards you won’t need more than two. Moles are solitary and mobile, and you won’t find more than a couple in a given burrow. As a matter of fact, one Mole can account for most of the damage that your experiencing, but the problem they move where the food is, and in no time can get a reinfestation with other Moles. Depending where you live, you may have them year after year, and DIY may be the best plan.
What if I DIY, and don’t like it, but need the Moles out?
Great question! If you sign up with us for the DIY, and you decide for whatever reason it’s not for you, we will credit 1/2 the money if with in one month of the purchase towards an enrollment in our monthly maintenance plan. See Moles, Gophers, and Voles for more details.
